All in all we highly recommend the Peg Perego Aria OH Classico Stroller for its reasonable price, easy-to-use features.  Most of the reports throughout the internet world include many happy parents which has been one of the foundation of Peg Perego’s strollers for many years now world-wide.

Tired of the ultra-lightweight umbrella strollers that are ideal for transport – but not that great for day-to day use? If you and your new family are looking for standard sized stroller that delivers comfort, durability and a plethora of features, you should consider the Pliko stroller from Peg Perego, a manufacturer of high-end strollers and car seats from Italy.

The Pliko stroller comes in two models, the Peg Perego Pliko P3, which is what I own, and the Peg Perego Pliko Switch Classico. Both strollers are ideal for carrying infant car seats, and both strollers are feature-packed. For the sake of brevity, I’m going to focus this review on the Pliko P3.  I’ll follow up with a separate review of the Pliko Switch Classico.

Following are the highlights of the Pliko stroller:

Storage / Transport

Weighing just over 16 lbs., the Peg Perego Pliko stroller does travel well – even though it’s not an umbrella stroller. Pliko folds into a compact form factor which is ideal for storage or for trips where trunk space could be an issue. To open the Pliko stroller, just pull up on a handle that is located behind the backrest. The stroller collapses, seat, tray and all, in one swift motion. To complete the folding process, with the wheels on the ground, gently push down on the handles until you hear a click. That’s all there is to it. The feature that I really like about the Pliko stroller is its ability to be stood in an upright position – this feature comes in handy at restaurants where floor space could be problematic.

Car Seat Compatibility:

The Pliko P3 stroller is compatible with the Promo Viaggio SIP 30/30 car seat – which is sold separately. The Viaggio car seat easily snaps into the Pliko P3 stroller which, in turn, allows you to easily move your child to and from your stroller without any hassles.

Canopy Coverage:

With your Primo Viaggio SIP 30/30 attached, you can pull both canopies together for maximum protection from the elements. The canopy has a ‘peek-a-boo’ mesh window that allows you to check your child without disturbing him or her. Another option is to remove the canopy altogether so your child can get fresh air.

Modern Conveniences:

With the Pliko five-point “Freedom of Movement harness”, you can easily strap your  child into the stroller. This harness safely secures your child into the stroller seat – while giving him or her freedom of movement – hence the feature’s name. The safety harness has a loop sewn on the seatback which allows you to temporarily move the harness out of the way while you load / unload your child into, or out of, the stroller. Once the harness straps are secured, you simply disconnect the safety harness from the seat’s loop and your child can enjoy the ride.

The Peg Perego Pliko P3 has a removable child tray, which includes two cup holders, is designed to open from either side – this makes life easy for parents (and children) on the go. What’s really nice about the child tray is that it folds up with your stroller which is, obviously, very convenient.
